Community Gaming Grants provide $140 million annually to not-for-profit organizations throughout B.C., to support their delivery of ongoing programs and services that meet the needs of their communities. This page includes information about these grants, including eligibility criteria, grant amounts, how and when to apply and more.

Step 1: Confirm eligibility and review Guidelines and Conditions
Check that your organization is eligible to apply for a Community Gaming Grant by reviewing the following important documents:
Applicants are encouraged to read both documents in full, as they contain important information about eligibility, application requirements, the use of grant funds, and the responsibilities of grant recipients.
Step 2: Determine when to apply
Make sure you are applying in the appropriate sector and at the appropriate time. Detailed information about the sectors is provided in Section 2.2 of the Program Guidelines.

Step 3: Determine which application form to use
Regular Form Application: Most organizations will apply using the Regular Form application, including all new applicants, as well as returning applicants that are seeking a a change in their request for funding.
Renewed Funding Application: Some returning applicants may be eligible to use the new Renewed Funding application if they meet the requirements outlined in Section 5.3 of the Program Guidelines.
This application should only be used in cases where the returning applicant is seeking the same level of funding, for the same programs, as they received in the previous year.

Pre-Application Checklists:
Before beginning the online application for a Community Gaming Grant, please review the appropriate pre-application checklist, to ensure that you have all required information and documentation available to refer to or to upload to the application. This preparation will make applying faster and easier.
Use the Regular Form pre-application checklist unless you know your organization is eligible to apply using the Renewed Funding application (see Step 3 above).
